Up for auction is this excellent vintage 1960 Fender Concert Amp Model 6G12 guitar tube amplifier which came from the home of the original owner, purchased this beauty brand new many years ago. This is the first time this treasure has been offered for sale so serious bidders only, no reserve and no games! Comes with all four original Fender speakers and the four installed Eminence replacement speakers.  Also has four caster wheels but they are not currently attached. The owner guaranteed this unit is in perfect working condition and we believe three of the four original speakers also work great, one is marked "blown" so it's questionable and two others might need minor patching on the cones. This amplifier has a nice classic appearance and art deco style Fender logo on the grille, would look superb in any den, rec room, display cabinet, etc. Just FYI - the tolex covering is actually a slightly darker shade of brown than it came out in the photos. The unit itself weight 55 pounds and combined weight of everything is 74 pounds. A recent estate find that is in search of a new home so don't miss out on your chance to own this nifty treasure!

This vintage Fender guitar amp would definitely make a fantastic display item for collection-decoration or make a wonderful surprise gift for someone special. Sure to be of interest to any serious collector, creative interior decorator or could even be used as a prop item to liven up any set. Please see the "Condition" section below for more details.

We Proudly Offer This Item On Behalf Of...

 Condition:

CONDITION: This vintage Fender amp is in great cosmetic condition and contains some minor surface wear from handling and use over the years. The cabinet is sturdy & intact with no known damage or repairs. Underneath the carrying handle is a slight imprint in the tolex covering so there might have originally been a piece of trim on that area or possibly a different handle, the current handle says "Fender" so maybe it's the original. The four original speakers show some surface wear from handling and one is missing the cap that covers the magnet, can be seen in the photo above. Also one is marked "blown" and it's working capacity is questionable, the other three look good but two might need some minor patching on the cones.

As mentioned above, the owner verified this unit is in perfect working condition and kicks ass! This amplifier has a classic appearance and design, nice for display and collection. I'm describing this item to the best of my ability, please use the pictures above as the best description. Please contact us with any questions before bidding. Our auction ID: AW1340
